Fear, cold, tears… all together at once, in one single moment, extended throughout her whole life, Danni just let the cigarette down, exhaling, freeing the smoke from its fleshed cage. “Look Tammy-Boy… I’m not looking for anything, just make it stop! Alright?”
His pitch black eyes glowed, but still Tanny was clouded by uncertainties, he couldn’t know why she’d come to him if she didn’t ask for any benefits. “Danni… look, I’m quite flattered that you came here, but I just don’t really get why. You could have done this yourrself. What’s on your mind?” Tanny said, as his eyes returned to their original ever changing blue, resting on hers.
She escaped his gaze, wandering in the room, looking for a way out. Thanatos stood up, pacing towards her, understanding a bit more, by reading her gaze. She stepped back at the touch of his soft hands, which -to her surprise- were warm and welcoming. Danni was still wondering how he did that, when she found herself on his arms, resting her head on his chest, and his left hand craddling the back of her head.
Dani smiled peacefully “thank you”, she mouthed as a tear ran down his cheek, as he took her chin on his hands, placing the sweetest kiss to ever meet a pair of lips, on hers. Gracefully, Thanatos picked her up, and placed her limp body on the bed. Broodingly, he stood for a moment admiring her beauty, a soul so bright hidden under scars of wars and heartbreaks, he didn’t understand it fully, but he had to do it.
He sighed in pain… as the room was filled by the blackest darkness.
